A Lemon Zest in Show Spring Tablescape
A bit of brightness here! I found this lemon tablecloth at Sur La Table online some years ago. When I saw these melamine lemon dinner plates at HomeGoods last month I knew it was time for another lemon tablescape. This is the third lemon themed tablescape that I have done since I started tablescaping. I created one three years ago and another one six years ago. This one has only a few of the same pieces as those other lemon tablescapes because I have added to my tablescaping collection and I now have more lemon items to choose from.
Because I didn’t want to hide the center design on these melamine lemon dinner plates I didn’t add a salad plate to this table setting stack. I found these plates at HomeGoods last month. I already had a lemon dinner plate with a different design but I had donated a third lemon design plate set that I had to the silent auction at our Southern California Tablescapers Event so I felt like I could add this lemon set to my collection, (always rationalizing when adding to my tablescaping collection…). I love the bright colors, the yellow and orange edge design, and the ruffled shape.
I found these resin type bright green chargers at Michaels last year I think.
This yellow flatware set is labeled Mepra Inox and the pattern is called Fantasia. We bought it on sale at Macys online last year but several stores online sell it too. I also have this flatware pattern in orange and blue. It comes in several other colors as well. It is difficult to find flatware sets in different colors so I have my eye on a few other colors when it goes on sale again. I have never seen a flatware set that comes in so many different colors. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.
I can’t remember where I bought these green tweed napkins, it might have been HomeGoods. The lemon napkin rings have a label that says Aubrey but I can’t remember where I found them either.

My daughter-in-law gave me these Kate Aspen Topiary Tree place card holders several years ago. I see them for sale online from time to time online on various sites. I chose these tree place card holders because they remind me of my neighbor’s lemon tree. The yellow place cards came from Amazon several years ago. I am using some of my favorite goblets on this tablescape. The green glass goblet on the left came from Pier 1 several years ago. I have used this goblet several times over the years on my tablescapes. I love the bright green color. It can be difficult to find yellow glass goblets that don’t have a gold tint to them so when I saw these yellow goblets on the right on Etsy a couple of years ago I immediately bought them. I love the color and the size of them. I have goblets that are a similar shape in red, blue, and purple as well. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying goblets for your tablescaping collection including the colors that I use most often here.
I bought this bright green flower pot at HomeGoods several years ago. It is usually on the back patio with a geranium in it but I borrowed it for this tablescape. We bought the faux lemons at Michael’s a few years ago.
If you read my blog you know that I often add salt and pepper sets to my tablescapes to help carry out the theme of the table. The two lemon salt and pepper sets on this tablescape came from HomeGoods last month.
Breakfast should be served on this table setting, the brightness would wake everyone up!
