An Eggs-tra Special Easter Tablescape
An Easter Tablescape almost passed me by this year but I decided at the last minute to do this one. This green gingham tablecloth came from Amazon last week. I love using gingham tablecloths during the spring and summer sometimes. Just for fun I decided to do a mixture of colors on this tablescape. You can see 270+ other themed tablescapes that I have created including eleven other Easter Tablescapes here: https://www.whispersoftheheart.com/tablescapes If you are on Facebook, join my Table Settings and Tablescape Ideas Facebook group (4,000+ members) for lots of tablescaping inspiration! I love these Easter Egg salad plates, and I especially like the raised design on them. They came from HomeGoods several years ago and they were made by Magenta. If you read my blog you have seen them before on other Easter Tablescapes that I have done.
I saw these pink plates on another blog a few years ago and I immediately checked HomeGoods (the source) for them with no luck. I had been looking for a basic pink dinner plate for a long time. I have most of the basic colors on my dinner plates but I was missing pink. I finally found them at another HomeGoods a month later. They were made in Portugal by Matceramica. I like the raised design around the rim.
I found these white plastic chargers at Michaels a few years ago. I really like the raised and perforated design on the lip of the charger and the scalloped edge.
These Park Designs metal napkin rings came from Amazon last week. When I opened the box they were not the colors that the photos showed. They were dirty pastel colors with polka dots and really ugly. I knew Hubby could paint them for me though and he did. I bought the polyester Easter napkins at HomeGoods several years ago. To read about the What, When and How of napkin rings please click here.
The green goblet on the left came from Macy’s a few years ago. The name is Qualia Glass Meridian. I like the height and the beautiful green color. It can be difficult to find yellow glass goblets that don’t have a gold tint to them so when I saw these yellow goblets on the right on Etsy a couple of years ago I immediately bought them. I love the color and the size of them. I have goblets that are a similar shape in red, blue, and purple as well. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying goblets for your tablescaping collection including the colors that I use most often here.
These glass Easter egg place card holders came from Poshmark a few years ago. The photos are a bit dark so the colors don’t show as well as they should. To read about the What, When and Why of place card holders, please click here.
I am using my frosted flatware in three different colors on this tablescape. This green set came from World Market several years ago and the pattern was called Madeline Green. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.
This frosted pink flatware set was made by Bugatti for Vietri and the pattern was called Aladdin Brilliant. I bought the set at Macys several years ago.
This frosted blue flatware set is also made by Bugatti for Vietri and the pattern was called Aladdin Brilliant. I bought this set at Macys several years ago too.
When I saw this egg ferris wheel online at Pottery Barn Kids a few months ago I immediately bought it because I knew that it would sell out, and it did. As soon as I saw it I knew I could use it as a centerpiece and not just for Easter either! I am thinking about what else I can put in the egg spots. It will be a surprise! I bought the assorted Easter eggs on Amazon. They were ornaments but I just cut off the loops and left the bows.
I bought these small wooden painted eggs on Etsy last month.
And now on to some Spring tablescapes!
