A Ghostly Halloween Tablescape
This Ghostly Halloween tablescape is a combination of two Ghost tablescapes that I did in 2021 and 2023. I took elements from both of those tablescapes and created a new tablescape. I found this tablecloth online at At Home a few years ago. I was looking for a Halloween tablecloth and I wanted it to have an orange background with white ghosts. This tablecloth was exactly what I needed. This is the 25th Halloween tablescape that I have created. Halloween tablescapes are some of my favorites tablescapes to create.
I found these stoneware white ghost plates at Pottery Barn online a few months ago. I have some ghosts bowls but I have been looking for ghost plates for a while and I was really happy to see these pop up.
This is a Fiesta dinner plate in the color Poppy, a perfect color for a Halloween tablescape. I can’t remember where I bought them online but if you google it, there are several sources where they can be purchased. I have this plate in several different colors and I use this style often on my plate stacks when I need a simple solid color dinner plate.
These black glass Starburst chargers are called Charge It and they were made by Jay. I bought them several years ago on Amazon. They are heavy glass and work well with many different color schemes. They are in constant use on my tablescapes every October.
This black stainless flatware set is Ginkgo International LePrix. I have had it for several years, I’m not sure where I bought it. You can still find it for sale online. It gets a lot of use this time of year but I actually use them at other times of the year as well. If I were starting a flatware collection for tablescaping, black would be one of the first colors I would buy. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.
These black cotton napkins came from Crate and Barrel a few years ago. They are a really nice study cotton fabric in a true black color. So often black is actually a dark charcoal or dark gray but these are the perfect black color. I found the white acrylic ghost napkin rings on Etsy last month. They are a perfect match for this Ghostly Halloween Tablescape. To read about the What, Where and How of napkin rings please click here.
I found these small soy white wax ghost candles on Amazon last year. I set them on a Oleg Cassini clear glass place card holder. I bought the glass place card holders at HomeGoods several years ago when I first started tablescaping. They are heavy and solid and I really like the simple design. I often use them as a stand for place card holder items. If you read my blog you have seen them several times being used as a stand for something that I am using as a place card holder. I often use black and orange goblets on my Halloween tablescapes but this black goblet is a newer addition to my goblet collection. I bought them a few years ago. I have black goblets that are shorter than this goblet and black goblets that are much taller than this goblet but I wanted goblets this height that were all black. I was delighted to find these black plastic ones on Amazon. The advertisement said that they are disposable but I plan to keep them for a while until I can find some black glass ones that are the same height. I think I bought these orange glass goblets at Ross or T.J. Maxx several years ago. They were some of the first goblets I bought when I started tablescaping. I love using them this time of year. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying goblets (including the colors I use the most) for your tablescaping collection here.
I was browsing Mercari online a few years ago when I found this large ghost and I just love it. It was a dirty cream color but Hubby painted it white for me. It is ceramic and heavy! I love the expression and the folds are perfect.
This Pearhead Ghost salt and pepper set came from Amazon last month.
Hubby found this cute ghosts butter dish last month. I think he found it at HomeGoods.
I have done two other Ghost tablescapes. You can see this one in further detail here .

Halloween tablescapes are some of my favorites. I look forward to creating them every year. I develop Halloween themes way in advance and I look for things for months!
