Time for a Barbeque Tablescape for Summer
The creation of this tablescape started with finding the barbeque napkins. I have done picnic themed tablescapes before, one last year, and one the year before, but this one has more of a barbeque theme. I am not sure where I found the red buffalo print tablecloth but it is one of my favorites, heavy cotton and a great color, a true red.
The small appetizer top plates were made by At Home with Marieke and the pattern was called Sarah. I love this bright red small gingham pattern. I can’t remember where I bought them, I have had them for several years. The pattern has been discontinued. They are part of a plate set, one of the few plate sets that I have bought. The salad plate has a larger gingham pattern and the dinner plate even larger than that. They are some of my favorite dishes.
This salad plate is part of our everyday dishes set and it was made by Fiesta. The color is Scarlet. I used it last week on my Musical tablescape too.
These classic black porcelain dinner plates were made by 10 Strawberry Street and the pattern was called Black Glaze. I think I bought them at HomeGoods several years ago. It’s always good to have a basic black dinner plate for tablescaping.
This is a Color Spectrum charger made by Mikasa, the color is Sun Yellow. I bought these chargers on Ebay a few at a time several years ago because I loved the quality and the color. I have them in several different colors. I chose them for this tablescape to match the yellow in the napkins and add another color in addition to black, red and white.
The black flatware is made by Ginkgo International Le Prix. I have had it for several years but it is still for sale. Not sure where I bought it. I have it in a few other colors as well. It is often in use on tablescapes at Halloween time.
These barbeque themed napkins came from Pier 1 online a few months ago. I found the wood hot dog napkin rings on Ebay last month. They are vintage and they were made by Vera., kind of funky and I love them.
I bought the black metal ant place card holders at Pottery Barn a few years ago. They were red but Hubby spray painted them black for me. They are one of my favorite place card holders.
These fun plastic red cup goblets were a gift from my kids a few years ago. They are a favorite of one of my grandsons, he heads for the cupboard where they are every time he comes over. They were made by Red Cup Living. They are perfect for a barbeque.
I really wanted to use some kind of barbeque as a centerpiece so I looked online and I found this toy plastic Weber barbeque at the Weber store online. You can see the hamburger in the background that came with it, it has six different parts. (Grandkids will love it!) I put the barbeque on a red box I had saved for a long time in case I needed it for something. It is such a nice box, glad I saved it!
The moment I saw this red barbeque salt and pepper set at Amazon online a few months ago I knew I had to have it. I seem to have a weakness for unusual salt and pepper sets. A magnet keeps the top in place off to the side or centered when it is not in use.
The condiment containers all came from Williams Sonoma originally but I bought them all on Ebay a few years ago.
I really love the design of all these jars.
