Come to the Turkey Tablescape!
I am reposting my favorite Thanksgiving tablescape that I did in 2019. This is the second version of this Thanksgiving table that I created, I did the same table several years ago but I made some changes.
I found this tablecloth on Amazon a few years ago. I was looking for green and there are so many different tones and shades of green but I really like this one. It has a tweed look to it. This photo shows the most accurate color of the tablecloth.
This time of year there are so many different designs of turkey plates to choose from. I bought these turkey salad plates at HomeGoods several years ago. The back of the plate says, “Royal Stafford, made in Burslem, the heart of the Potteries, England”. I like the different colors included on the plate and the traditional turkey who is fat and fluffy.
The dinner plate came from Pier 1 and I bought it several years ago. It was part of their Spice Route collection and the color is Clove. The beaded edge adds interest to the border. I have this plate in a few other colors too and I use them often this time of year. You can see this plate on my Time for Soup tablescape here and my Leaves are Falling tablescape here. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying dinner plates here.
I bought these brown glass spiral chargers online but I can’t remember where. I have had them for several years and I use them often on my Fall tablescapes.
This is one of my go-to flatware patterns for Fall tablescapes. The flatware is Madeline Green and I bought it at World Market some years ago. You can really see the tweed design in the tablecloth in this photo. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.
I bought the amber goblets at Pier 1 before our store closed a few years ago. I love how tall they are, they replaced some that I bought several years ago that are much shorter. I bought the green acrylic goblets online at Home Depot. They are made by Certified International and they come in other colors too. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying goblets for your tablescaping collection here.
The napkins came from HomeGoods a few years ago and they just happened to match the tablecloth perfectly! I wanted the napkins to add a bit more pattern to the table and these worked.
This turkey napkin ring is one of my favorite napkin rings. It was one of the first napkin rings that I bought when I started tablescaping. The bottom says, “j. willfred, a division of the Charles Sadek Import Company, Inc.”.
Can’t remember where I found these metal turkey place card holders.
I think I found this salt and pepper set at HomeGoods.
This vintage salt and pepper set is labeled Relco, Japan. I found the set at an antique mall.
I looked for a turkey tureen to use as a centerpiece for a long time and finally found this one several years ago. It was made by Spode and it was part of their Harvest Collection. I can’t remember where I found it. I really love it. I set it on one of the chargers and put bits and pieces of Fall around it. It comes out the beginning of November and sits on the table or somewhere else until Christmas decorating starts.
This is the same table I did several years ago but I made several changes this year. I like this year’s better!
